TWU Order 66 - The Betrayal is Complete

We've already talked about how after using Lila Hacket to get elected Senator Palpatine became Darth Sidious. We also talked about how John Carpenter's Vampires Suck and how they lost $3 million in less than a year.

The Star Wars saga was about a dirty politician who used fraud to create a manufactured emergency. He teamed up with a group of bad guys and got them to attack his planet. Then he used that attack to gain sympathy in the senate to get elected chancellor. Where have we heard that term before?

He used the war to get the powers of dictator bestowed upon him then when the time was right he had his people ambush and execute all the real Jedi on the battlefield. Somewhat ironic how similar that is to the fate of the TWU. The Betrayal is Now Complete.

Black Flag

In Belfast a black flag didn't represent anarchy or some radical drive of extremism. In Belfast people are used to getting exploited. During an IRA funeral they would line the streets with black flags out of respect for the dead as a sign of mourning. I'm certainly not saying I agree with everything the IRA did. In due course one side at times became just as bad as the other. I am saying that when death occurs, mourning is an appropriate response.

Some say it died when the Devil's deal was signed and the company just had to send the union a letter to notify them of any contracting out. That was the beginning of the end and the gravestones of good jobs fill the list of jobs lost to greed.

Some say the union died before that when party politics degenerated into bitter factionalism which we have seen reoccur in 2010. The liberators have become the oppressors and democracy has degenerated into fear controlled by oppression and harassment. The list of dirty deeds is long as is the fearful silence. No one wants to speak out and be a target.

The shocking thing is, what do you do when the majority of the people ask for evil? What do you do when the majority of the people say Let's kill all the Jews or when the majority of the people say Let's kill all the Muslims? We oppose it of course. We speak and record our dissent. We do not stop reminding them that killing Jews or killing Muslims is wrong. Silence is indeed violence.

When the majority of the delegates in a Union vote for oppression, vote for abuse and harassment then darkness reigns and we wave a black flag as we record our dissent. That was another use of the black flag in Belfast. I remember seeing a photo of a Irishman holding a black flag in protest as the antagonistic and racist Orange men marched through his neighbourhood in a proud parade of intolerance.

To George Doubt and Tamara Marshall I wave a black flag in tribute. Two people who turned on the very people they used to get elected and when they seized enough power to control the delegates they signed the termination order on the people they used. Our little ray of sunshine has turned into a dark cloud of poison.

Abusing the harassment policy, firing Lila and Sherryl with a smile on your face? Shame on you. History has recorded those dark deeds and you will live with that forever. Natural justice still exists in our troubled world.

Labourtalk

Speaking about remembering the past and moving on…. I Googled my name and found yet another new thread about me on Labourtalk. Can’t they find anything better to talk about? After all, I am very insignificant. Just a little drummer boy. Regardless, I have two points about the past as I move on into the future.

Labourtalk was an anti-union forum Darren Entwistle bragged about claiming it represented what the members felt about the Union. Not so. There were by far in the minority: http://www.darrenentwistle.com/twu/vanrat.htm

John Doe doesn’t work for TELUS any more though his father is still management. JD said some pretty funny things trash talking TELUS after he left whilst anonymously moderating a forum designed to break the Union.

Crazy Tracy never worked for TELUS but her husband did. Her anti union passion can be frightening. Although she clearly does have good qualities on other issues, as far as the union breaking quest goes it reminds me of a Martin Luther King quote: "It is still one of the tragedies of human history that the children of darkness are frequently more determined and zealous than the children of light."

Yet Labourtalk has every right to exist. They have every right to ban me for truthfully answering their question as to who we say the moderators of that site are. I have never threatened them with anything but legal action. I wish no harm upon them or their families yet I have no desire to participate in their forum.

The Right claims I’m all about the Left and all about Unions no matter what. Not so. The Left claims I’m all about the Right and promoting a neo conservative agenda. Not at all. I believe in balance. I believe everyone has something to offer. I believe there is good and bad on the left and the right and that offends both.

I am not a member of a trade union any more and I have no desire to organize my work place because I am happy with my employer. Having said that I firmly believe TELUS and Canada Post both need a union because of their obsession for profits above people. They need a union to maintain a royal opposition to their extreme agenda which I believe is bad for Canadians and bad for the economy.

My Case at Canada Post

Labourtalk posted a CUPW Bulletin that cited my case in a very incomplete manner and just to set the record straight, I will. I hesitate because I really rather not talk about it but I will one last time. I really enjoyed working for Canada Post. I thought it was a great job.

I really got frustrated when people would destroy a great job just because they can or just because they wanted to advance their own position on the corporate or union ladder with no regard for anyone else. That really made me angry.

The CUPW Bulletin sets my case up as a model and says na na na na boo boo. Ya play with fire, you’re gonna get burned. The Labour board basically said the Union owns my grievance and can withdraw any grievance for any reason at any time irregardless of how that might affect a member or members. I believe that is inherently wrong.

The government doesn’t like to get involved in the administration of a trade union. I was told going into my complaint that I had a 1% chance of winning a failure to represent simply because regardless of the merits of the case, the union owns the grievance.

That is why I pushed for the grievance to proceed. I knew I didn’t have a chance with the labour board. John Bail and Pat Bertrand said in the beginning my grievance didn’t have a chance. I smiled and said everything has a chance. They however, were not prepared to give me that chance and refused to refer the grievance to arbitration.

I went over their head and National referred the grievance without them. John Bail was shocked and slighted. It then became his campaign to prove the grievance wrong to save face. What a petty life. He is Pee Wee Herman.

The bulletin and the legal opinion Pee Wee paid for to argue his position not mine made reference to new information not disclosed at the onset of the grievance which made the grievance not winnable. Yet John and Pat both said my grievance was not winnable from day one. That is why they refused to refer it to arbitration in the first place.

So their own legal opinion they paid for proved them wrong. Their legal opinion said my grievance did have a chance when they passionately refused to admit that. I know Stan. I’ve worked with him before. He is good and he is smart. John Bail is neither. Stan did what John asked him to do. We are being sued, write a legal opinion that covers our ass. I submit that Stan’s legal opinion was biased and if he had been asked to write a report arguing my case he would have. Stan is Praetorian.

The corporation got an order to seize my home computer and national panicked. The evidence on my computer would have saved my case not destroyed it. It would have shown private E-mail from John Bail as well as private e-mail from National officers connecting my web site to the Unions’ Operation Transparency campaign. National didn’t want that information to get out so they let Pee Wee Herman proceed against me.

Operation Transparency was a Union campaign of civil disobedience calling for more transparency from the CEO of Canada Post as her behind closed doors slash and burn tactics were destroying the company just like she did at Bombardier and CN. They called upon the members to flood Moya Greene with letters demanding she come clean and show the deregulation plans and had intricate events planned to promote that cause.

Anyways, yes I am an idiot and yes I am better off working for a different company that doesn’t have hemorrhoids. However, I did have a chance when John Bail refused to refer my grievance to arbitration and the labour board’s position of letting the union withdraw any grievance at any time for any reason is just plain wrong. Nevertheless, life goes on and I’m still pursuing higher ground. On ne pas jetable.

CAW Raid on TWU

Witnesses report that some of the fallen Bruce Bell storm troopers are pushing for a CAW Raid on TWU. That is clearly the epitome of stupidity. Bruce Bell was an idiot and Buzz Hargrove is a liar.

Let’s take a look at the facts. Bruce Bell was not reelected. He knew he would not win an election against George Doubt so he ran a clone in his place and ran for Vice President himself. Both failed miserably.

The few obscure remaining storm troopers preached the we must merge mantra until each of their subsequent electoral defeats. Why would a growing telecommunications industry merge with a shrinking auto industry? It defies reason.

The CAW used to have a reputation for being a strong proactive Union but Buzz Hargrove has stained the CAW and their reputation within the labour movement. The blind devotion to Hargrove’s stupidity was clearly cultlike. Nevertheless, some CAW activists withstood the threats and intimidation from the brain dead storm troopers and spoke out for reason amidst Buzz Hargrove’s world of insanity.

The CAW screwed the TWU completely and utterly and it was because of their blind devotion to Hargrove. Before I go head to head with Buzz Hargrove's lawyers, I will cite his recent raiding video he made for the last TWU convention as evidence and will dissect two of the false statements he made in it which clearly proves that me calling him a liar is not slander, it is the truth. Unparliamentary perhaps but not unlawful because truth crushed to the earth will rise again so it will as no lie can live forever.

Before I dive into the video’s transcripts I will cite two fundamental lies Buzz Hargrove made in his video. Buzz Hargrove claimed that he was not responsible for influencing Bruce Bell to betray his members. Buzz Hargrove also slandered the true people’s champion, Lila Hacket. That was low and cheap but to be expected from what we have seen of Buzz Hargrove’s Method of Operation.

The TWU were on Strike/Lock out. The tyrant Darren Entwistle wanted to break the contract that saw the company make record profits and saw him make huge increases to his massive salary. The Board of Directors gave him that mandate under the dirty hands of Brian Canfiled to implement off shore call centres and export Canadian jobs overseas at a time of record profits to satisfy the demands of greed.

Darren Entwislte lied and said the off shore call centres would not affect the employees' job security in Canada. The closure of the Calgary call centre is evidence he lied.

Bruce Bell said Job Security was the Hill to Die on and that no one goes back until we all go back. Then Buzz Hargrove came into the picture and fed Bruce Bell the poison kool aid. He convinced Bruce Bell to cave in on Job security and off shore call centres. The members revolted and voted no despite bussing in of scabs for the vote. Then they restalked the deck and had a scab mail in ballot where members in rural areas did not get a ballot while scabs got one at work and were bussed in to vote in person. Those who lived in rural areas that were not scabs did not get a ballot and did not get the chance to vote. Period.

In Buzz Hargrove’s dirty raiding video last Convention he blamed this all on Bruce Bell. Nevertheless, I saw CAW members pushing the yes vote on the TWU picketline. I was absolutely shocked at the absurd betrayal. Yet for Buzz Hargrove to claim that he and his storm troopers did not push the yes vote is an absolute bold face lie. I saw them myself. For him to feed Bruce Bell the poison kool aid then send his storm troopers in to blame Bruce Bell and ask why do you still have him as president trying to promote CAW leadership in his stead was a dirty deed done dirt cheap.

For Buzz Hargrove to slander Lila Hacket after all she did in saving the TWU was yet another dirty deed done dirt cheap and has stained the credibility of the CAW forever.

Yes the CAW lent the TWU money during their dispute but other Unions did as well and that loan has been paid in full. That is called trade Union support not capitalistic opportunism to force a merger and get their greedy little mitts on the TWU Pension surplus.

Buzz Hargrove was directly involved in the TWU sell out and for him to deny that and Blame Bruce Bell is a bold face lie and for him to slander Lila Hacket the true workers hero is so low it won him the snake in the grass award two times running.

Mind you after the Magna dues grab and the Windsor disaster, I don’t think the CAW will be able to fool anyone in Canada anymore… much. Me thinks they’re better off sticking to McDonald’s and Wal-Mart while the Bus Drivers are better off on their own.

For the CAW to redeem themselves in the eyes of the Labour Movement they are gonna have to elect someone who is not a Buzz Hargrove clone and most certainly not on the same card. Mr. Hargrove needs a dishonourable discharge for the CAW to survive. Cheers.
