I was wondering what kind of shell exploded like fireworks. It appears that they are white phosphorous. Not good: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/middle_east/article5470047.ece

This is why we need foreign observers to determine who is lying. On this issue it clearly appears that Israel is lying. That does not make terrorism right or Hamas’ campaign to start shit as soon as Israel pulled out of Gaza right but it does mean that the use of white phosphorous on civilians should stop.
