India’s 911

I’ve held back on commenting on the Terrorism in India recently because I’m not really sure what to make of it. My first reaction is skepticism. With the stark reality of the false flag quest of the CIA nothing would surprise me any more.

My position is pretty simple. Terrorist attacks on civilians is heinous. False flag attacks on civilians is even worse. Once again we find ourselves stuck in a dilemma of not being able to believe anyone because both sides are untrustworthy.

I don’t have the same fear and animosity towards the Muslim faith as big brother to the south does. Their objection is not just homophobic it is down right suspicious. Sleeping with the Taliban until they gave the Oil pipeline contract to an Argentina firm says it all. Nothing the Americans have to say after that has any credibility whatsoever.

And that goes for MI6 as well who were caught giving false information to the media about Iraq. MI6 and the CIA are corrupt. That’s all there is too it. Now, having said that in no way implies that they are the only corrupt players on the field. Not at all. It just means we can’t believe a word that comes out of their mouths.

Calling the recent attacks India’s 9/11 to me is another red flag. If 9/11 was suspicious then India’s 9/11 will be suspicious too. Coming out hard against Pakistan at this point in time is also very suspicious. The CentGas pipeline from Turkmenistan through Afghanistan was to go to Pakistan. One minute they’re in bed with them, the next minute they are in a media war with them. It is downright suspicious.

I met someone today who spent part of their childhood in Iran because their father was helping to develop the oil resources there. His goal was to see the profits of the oil sales go directly to the government the oil was found in. That makes sense. How would we like someone come to our country and sell our natural resources. The problem with the American oil companies is greed. They want to exploit these countries in a twisted form of Imperialism and as soon as the country says no they declare war. Dirty deals.

I oppose Islamic extremism just as much as I oppose Christian, Jewish or Communist extremism. It’s just interesting the media war is pinning this on Pakistan's Military Intelligence called ISI. One article claims the ISI is America's Trojan Horse a de facto proxy of the CIA. Pakistani Intelligence has, since the early 1980s, worked in close liaison with its US and British intelligence counterparts.

Is there any terrorist in the world the CIA hasn’t trained? We need to stop and examine Operation Northwoods and Operation Gladio. Then we need to stop endorsing the CIA. Period.

Surrey Seniors Targeted

Where is our self-respect? The provincial government has targeted seniors and are robing them of shelter. This as we prepare to host the Olympics and give subsidies to the rich? That is revolting.

This is the man who gave himself an obscene raise and a gold plated pension after he closed Riverview and put all the mentally ill on the street. This is the man who gave himself a second obscene raise and handed out gold medals with his head on them to construction workers working on the Olympic site right before he put these seniors on the street. This man has diminished us. By electing him we as a people are diminished.

CentGas - Afghanistan’s Oil War

I’m going to clarify a few links in my last post just to drive the point home. I just posted the links as I was rushing off to work this morning. The revelation is the quest to build an oil pipeline through Afghanistan called CentGas short for Central Asia Gas Pipeline and it reeks with Bush administration conflict of interest.

The CentGas pipeline was to connect Turkmenistan, a new country north of Iran, formed from the former Soviet Union, with Pakistan. The reason the US has interest is because of the US Oil company UNOCAL and Halliburton, which was headed by Dick Cheney at the time.

This article itemizes the players involved in the Afghanistan Oil Pipeline:
http://pashalaw.blogspot.com/2007/12/who-is-hamid-karzai.html

Condoleezza Rice was a former member of the board of Chevron? Chevron bought out UNOCAL in 2005: http://www.pipelinedubai.com/press/2005/pr_05_0690.htm

ENRON conducted the feasibility study for the CentGas deal? ENRON were contributors to Bush’s campaign fund? http://www.ratical.org/ratville/CAH/oilwar1.html

No wonder they promoted Enron’s official book cooker to the Pentagon’s official book cooker.

Any ways. The point is the timeline. Not only did the CIA train the Taliban to fight the Soviets during that war, not only did the Bin Laden family provide start up money for the Bush family’s defunct oil company in Texas, but up until four months before 911, Texas oil barons were wooing the Taliban to win the contract to build the pipeline.
http://grant-montgomery.blogspot.com/2008/09/us-and-nato-forces-in-afghanistan.html

The point is, everything went wrong when the Taliban awarded the pipeline contact to a firm in Argentina instead of the US. Then… Abracadabra… war. All of a sudden all the bad things the Taliban did mattered and the US embarked on a crusade to liberate the oppressed. Only the oppressed didn’t matter as long as the Taliban gave the US the pipeline contact. That seems to be the real issue on the table.

Another war of deception fought over money:

Afghanistan Acid Attack

http://pashalaw.blogspot.com/2007/12/who-is-hamid-karzai.html

Sometimes it’s hard to know who to believe if anyone. I really don’t know much about the Taliban. All I know is that they shot a couple of female aid workers dead, which was outrageous and that they were trained by the CIA which is suspicious.

Then there’s the propaganda war. How do you discern the truth when the good guys are convicted liars? We know there was an acid attack on schoolgirls in Afghanistan recently. Yes, absolutely outrageous but who did it. Today the media reports it was the Taliban:
http://news.sympatico.msn.ctv.ca/abc/home/contentposting.aspx?isfa=1&feedname=CTV-TOPSTORIES_V3&showbyline=True&newsitemid=CTVNews%2f20081125%2fafghan_acid_081125

Please note that the media is quoting an accusation made by the Kandahar Gov under the direction of the Afghan President opposing the Taliban. These are the guys who want forgein troops there longer because the Taliban will kick their ass if the troops leave. These are the guys who were accused of torturing prisoners after Canadian and US troops handed over prisoners to them. We know that Bush vetoed the bill preventing CIA torture and that the CIA likes to outsource their dirty work to hide their liability.

The claim is that high ranking Taliban officials paid the guy to perform the acid attack. So by their information we have confirmation that it wasn’t the Taliban soldiers who did it. We have an accusation that the Taliban paid someone to do it. Which is entirely possible. It’s just that it's so hard for us to tell which group paid the guys to do it – the Taliban or the CIA and MI6 in an ongoing string of false flag events in the ongoing media driven propaganda war.

The article claims that girls were forbidden to attend school when the Taliban were in power. I don’t know if that is true or false. The Taliban closed down Turkish schools and seem to be opposed to non religious schools and closed many. Whether their position is an attack on girls is hard to tell. Like I said, in Afghanistan, woman are allowed to vote. In Saudi Arabia and Kuwait they are not.

The propaganda war seems to revolve around the oil factor again. It’s not as blatant as in Iraq who has oil, it’s more subtle with US oil company UNOCAL:
http://www.counterpunch.org/tomenron.html

Seemingly the oil issue appears with the quest to build an oil pipeline through Afghanistan. Despite the propaganda, that appears to be the real root of the conflict:

The Fraser Valley

Snowshoeing in the mountains on Saturday while sailboats sail in Howe Sound then Dragon boating on Sunday in the Bedford channel. That’s what I love about Vancouver. Sure our beaches aren’t nearly as nice as California, Mexico or the Caribbean, but the rain and the mountains of the west coast provide us with not only something to do, but constitute our home.

The Fraser Valley is a valley surrounded by mountains. Martin Luther King talked about a day when every valley shall be exalted and every mountain shall be brought low. I’m not looking forward to that day myself. I met a guy from the French Alps on Mount Strachan yesterday. I love the mountains.

Indeed, I’ve been to the mountain top and I’ve seen the Holy Land so I have. Yo bro, your home is holy and that makes this land sacred so it does. To us. Word.

The Dangers of Pension Greed

http://www.pbase.com/erinashley/image/32153603

This is something that really pisses me off. When someone works hard all their life and puts money aside in a pension, that pension should be secured. All too often we hear of large pensions just disappearing and that is absolutely criminal.

The problem is corporate greed. Big companies see the large amount of money in pensions and they want access to it. They want to take that money and invest it in high risk stocks to create even higher returns on the money. Well fuck off.

The recent stock market crash seems to be affecting everything and was another manufactured emergency. What was the cause of the great depression? Buying stock on margin. What was the cause of the last stock market blow out? Greed resulting in investing in high risk stocks and investing on margin. Business hasn’t changed. People make products or offer services and still turn a profit. What changed was the domino effect of high risk investments going belly up.

Pensions should not be invested in high risk stocks. Period. I don’t care how much money is sitting in them and I don’t care how many greedy little snake oil salesmen wanna get their greedy little mitts on that money, use it and return it without anyone every knowing. Guess what. You fucked up and we noticed and the ripple effect of that fuck up has been far reaching.

Don’t even get me started on Moya Greene:
http://finiansworld.blogspot.com/2008/11/canada-post-pension-loss.html

She is not good at business. Stop letting her tell you that. She is destroying the company because of an extreme political agenda to privatize everything under the sun just because they think that will work better. Well guess what, it doesn’t. Business wants to remove public accountability. That is the Moya Greene Mandate: http://www.moyagreene.com/#mgm

Let’s think about the stock market for a minute. Let’s remember why Vancouver doesn’t have a stock exchange any more. They were corrupt! Ya think those crooks went honest when they merged with the TSE? Ya think those crooks from the NYSE are any more honest? Not likely. It’s all about making a quick buck and no one gives a rat’s ass if the stock exists or not. If the fake stock will balloon on speculation alone, then those crooks will exploit that frenzy and make a buck off it. As long as they pull out and screw the next guy before they get screwed. Not only is it dishonest, it’s high risk. http://finiansworld.blogspot.com/2008/10/bre-x-and-stornoway.html

Can’t you see that privatizing everything under the sun is also problematic? We need more public accountability not less. We need to address corporate corruption not sweep it under the carpet. Our future, not to mention our children’s future, depends on it.

Pension Thieves - Name and Shame: http://www.independent.ie/business/irish/name-and-shame-pension-thieves-78171.html

Canada Post Pension Loss

"Since December 2007 the CPCPP has lost $2 billion as a result of investments in stock markets." http://www.cupw.ca/index.cfm?ci_id=11351&la_id=1

Since Moya Greene bragged about how the corporation didn’t have to make any contributions to the Pension Plan in 2007 because the plan performed so well, does that mean they now have to put twice as much into the plan since it performed poorly this year?
http://www.moyagreene.com/mgep.htm

If Moya Greene insists employer contributions are based on fluctuations in the market instead of the age old matching of employee contributions to the plan, then it has to go both ways. Last time the Plan performed poorly the employees had to give up their severance pay. Then as soon as it has a good year Canada Post stops making contributions to the plan. What about now?

Since the plan has performed poorly this term and Canada Post made zero contributions when it performed well, then natural justice cries out that they make up the difference. That is Moya Greene’s deal not ours.

Since she told the world the Pension is fully indexed then she has publicly committed herself to that contractual obligation. Don’t let her destroy the pension any more than she already has. Save the Dream get rid of Moya Greene:

http://www.moyagreene.com

Mary Mary quite the contrary. Mary Travesty is quite the Travesty: http://www.canadapost.ca/AboutUs/News/Letters/NationalPost7.aspx

Mind you she’s just writing what Moya Greene tells her to. Moya Greene is the real travesty of justice. She admits that Canada Post is a large and successful company. At least it was. Before Moya Greene.

If they gave the Union two years notice of the closure of the Quebec Post office, why did the Arbitrator order Canada Post to hold on the move until they notified the union? Canada Post lies. At least under the direction of Moya Greene they do.

Closing the Quebec Post office did not improve services it dramatically reduced them in a huge city with a vibrant history. Moya Greene is not good at business. If you reduce all your services in a service based industry you will lose your business revenue. Employees did lose their job. They were displaced and all those positions disappeared.

Just as Eva:

First Snowfall

First real snowfall of the year in the Vancouver mountains today. I’ve been keeping my eye on the snow reports. This morning I saw they had 12 cm of fresh snow in the past 24 hours so I said I’m outta here.

Grouse was completely fogged in so I headed up Mount Strachan on Cypress. Zero visibility at the top but it was great to see the snow again. Ya gotta love the first snowfall of the year. A friend from Cali didn’t know what snowshoeing was so I made a video clip with some TSO in the background: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lKYxjDg6XU

Privatized Military Now Accountable

This is good news. The former Blackwater mercenary conspiracy was that the US’ privatized military were not accountable for war crimes. They claimed that because they were part of the US’ total force their quasi military status made them exempt from civil prosecution. Then they argued that since they were civilians they were not subject to military discipline. These two legal loop holes gave them a free license to rape murder and torture without any legal accountability whatsoever. The new agreement simply states that the privatized military in Iraq are accountable if they commit crimes. That is a very important correction to make. God bless Barack Obama.

US contractors lose immunity in Iraq

Contractors in Iraq could face charges in earlier incidents
"Private security contractors operating in Iraq could face Iraqi prosecution for acts committed when they supposedly had immunity from Iraqi law, U.S. officials said Thursday.

A new U.S.-Iraq security agreement doesn't specifically prevent Iraqi officials from bringing criminal charges retroactively in cases such as the September 2007 shooting deaths of 17 Iraqi civilians by contractors protecting a State Department convoy, officials told security company officials during meetings in Washington Thursday.

The news caught company officials by surprise. "

"We are still trying to make sense of it," said Anne E. Tyrrell, a spokeswoman for Blackwater Inc.

Conrad Black asks for clemency

Conrad Black is seeking clemency from George W. Bush before the U.S president's tenure in the White House ends in January: http://www.canada.com/theprovince/news/story.html?id=3ac1ca8d-d55f-4ec2-9a1a-5aab1e94004f

Hell no. That would be a great way to start a riot wherever Bush goes after his term is over. From one scam to the next. Clemency for Conrad black from George W. Bush spells one thing: Riot.

Privatized Prison Problems

More problems surface with excessive privatization. Dick Cheney named in the conflict of interest profit driven prison scam.

"A grand jury in south Texas indicted Mr Cheney and Alberto Gonzales, the former Attorney General, on state charges that they blocked an investigation into the mistreatment of prisoners.

The indictment cites a "money trail" relating to Mr Cheney's financial stake in prison-related businesses, including the Vanguard Group, which has an interest in privately-run federal jails in the region."

Obama’s Youtube Channel

Normally the president of the United States addresses the nation in a state of the union Speech. When it came to Bush I couldn’t bear to watch him any more. I just had to turn it off. When Obama speaks people gather to listen. He now has his own youtube channel. Good on him: http://www.youtube.com/user/BarackObamadotcom

The Legend of Bob Marley

Speaking about prophets, how about that Bob Marley? A good friend of mine from Trinidad said Bob Marley was a rebel and quite the political activist so I had to check out some old songs from the vault. I stayed in Brixton for a while back in the /80’s and love the Caribbean community.

I worked with a chef from St. Kits while I was in London. He explained the black-eyed pea thing to me. You soak the black-eyed peas in water overnight, then you cook them half way and add them when you start cooking your rice. When the rice is done the peas are done and there you have it rice and peas man. A traditional Caribbean dish great with curry mutton and a pint of Guinness.

The Passion of Christ

A Muslim friend from Canada Post recommended that I see the movie the Passion of Christ. I kinda raised my eyebrow as I heard him talk about the movie. It was just kind of surprising to hear coming from a Muslim. He said it was very well done and made you wonder why God would let those horrible things happen to one of his prophets. Many Muslims see Jesus as a prophet not the messiah.

I was equally puzzled with his concern because that was the root of the Christian tradition. He came to suffer and die. That was a pivotal part of his mission. The Terminator skit on youtube said it well. No sacrilegious intended:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pUrsUORF4Y

Some people used to think that if you were disabled or if bad things happened to you, you were bad or being punished by God. To me that logic is very flawed. My concept of God is that he would have nothing but compassion on those who suffer.

Some Protestants were in an uproar over the movie because it was in Latin. Who cares? When I saw it, I thought they were speaking Hebrew, which would make more sense. It had English sub titles, which was a little bit more realistic than thinking Christ was speaking English. Turns out that Mel Gibson is Catholic and to the Catholics, Latin is a holy language so he decided to do it in Latin. Good for him. Who cares? To get bent out of shape over what language it was in is to miss the whole point of the movie.

Christ taught about service and said in as much as ye have done it not unto one of the least of these, ye have done it not unto me. He was referring to the judgement when many who professed to know him would be turned away because they turned away those who suffered here on earth.

I shudder when I see all the religious extremism that goes on in the name of Christianity. I see Christ as a revolutionary. After all he marched up to the religious leaders of the time and said they were liars, hypocrites and extortionists. Indeed if Christ was to come in our day, many so called Christians would crucify him all over again.

Personally, I think religion is a good thing. When I drive by the Sikh temple in Vancouver on the way to the mountains, I like to see that part of our community. I see it as a group of people aspiring to something higher. Sure there are extremists in every religion but there are extremists in every political party too.

Martin Luther King was a Christian who preached tolerance not hatred. Mother Teresa quoted Gandhi and said "He who serves the poor serves God." Sounds a lot like another guy I read about once. It’s easy for people to take religion out of context to promote their own agenda. I get kinda frustrated when I see so many people get so bent out of shape over so many very insignificant things. Mind you I’m the last one to talk. My daughter hates my road rage. I just can’t handle traffic.

Nevertheless, I aspire to something higher. I aspire to something better. I aspire to something good. That is the root of my dream.

I remember seeing a father and daughter administer communion in the United Church once. The little girl held the cup with such admiration it reminded me of a child holding what they believed to be the glass of milk that Santa’s drank out of. To me, someone devoting their life to telling everyone there is no Santa is a somewhat less than fulfilling life.

Karl Marx said religion is the opiate of the people. Implying that religion is false but if it makes them feel good, there’s no harm in it. Much. Now I’m not comparing the divinity of Christ to the existence of Santa Clause much but to me fighting religion is not the quest that leads to enlightenment or peace of mind. To each their own I suppose.

Gay Bashers

I am not an advocate for gay pride per say because I don’t support heterosexuals or homosexuals handing out free condoms and parading around half naked wearing lingerie or S&M attire in public. What consenting adults do behind closed doors is their business. Parading that kind of stuff around in public leads me to say "Find a room."

Nevertheless, the wacked out religious extremists that preach hate at the most absurd places in the most inappropriate times claiming they have anything whatsoever to do with God are absolute freaks. Nothing more nothing less.

I’m referring to Fred Phelps author of godhatesfags.com. This guy is a freak. There is a facebook group entitled keep Fred Phelps out of Canada at:

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=34102103084 Indeed we should.

This is the nutcase who tried to come to Canada from the States to picket Tim McLean‘s funeral:
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/manitoba/story/2008/08/08/westboro-protest.html

The protest was tasteless and deranged. Tim McLean was the guy murdered on a greyhound in a random act of violence by someone with a mental illness. Tim wasn’t even gay. The family was in shock and requested privacy. It was not the venue for extremism.

Well they’re back at it. Now, Mr. Phelps is trying to come back to Canada, this time to protest the Laramie Project, a play based on the brutal killing of Matthew Shepard who was gay. These wackos are tasteless freaks. There is nothing Godly about them. http://www.canada.com/theprovince/news/story.html?id=c5ce725f-7b55-4686-8f97-33877ba08e9e
Their website pulls one scripture from the Old Testament out of context, which forms their foundation of sand. Yes, the bible teaches that homosexuality is "wrong." However, it teaches that many things are wrong and that all hath committed sin and that if anyone claims they have not committed sin, then they are a liar and the truth is not in them. The bible does say that God hates liars BTW and since God is not a respecter of persons, I submit that God hates bigots.

Anyways the scripture they cite is from Leviticus – the old school old law that was fulfilled when Christ came. There is a whole list in that scripture including adultery and bestiality but the quote makes reference to the former inhabitants of Israel and states that God abhorred them. No he was not referring to the Palestinians. He was referring to the people who inhabited Palestine before the Palestinians. The bible claims that those people were really really bad.

These wackos are what I define to be the great and abominable church. They set themselves up as a light to the word when they are really scam artists. When you take a survey and look at the number of paid ministers out there wanting to outlaw homosexuality, then find out how many of them are adulterers sleeping with prostitutes, those numbers are revealing. One could justifiably hold a sign that says God hates Jimmy Baker: http://www.geocities.com/paulntobin/sexevangelist.html

God hates all sin. Does that mean God hates everyone? Of course not.

Homosexuality was not the fall of Rome promiscuity was. Remember that Elaine show that the extremists were in such an uproar about when she came out of the closet? Did any of them watch the episode? She was struggling with her sexuality, then finally came to the realization that she was gay only to discover that the person she wanted to have a relationship with was already in a relationship so it ended there. You missed the whole point about being faithful to your partner.

How can we condemn gay marriage but condone desperate housewives? A homosexual who is faithful to one partner is better than a heterosexual who is not.

Obama’s Cabinet

I’ve never heard of this before. Obama cites Lincoln and wants to appoint some republicans to his cabinet in a genuine attempt to reach out to all Americans: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/us_elections/article5167418.ece

That in my opinion is nothing short of amazing. That simply wouldn’t happen in Canada. Perhaps because of the way our system is framed with the non-confidence provision. It does however, appear to have been done before in the US on a token level. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/barackobama/3448362/Barack-Obama-to-appoint-Republicans-to-key-cabinet-roles.html
.
In his acceptance speech Obama pointed out that although the US is currently divided, they are not as divided as they once were. He was referring to the time when America was recovering from the civil war back when the States were fiercely divided over the issue of slavery. Personally I cannot comprehend how someone would fight a war for the right to keep slaves but that’s just me.

Nevertheless when Obama said he wanted to reach out to all Americans in that they are more than a bunch of red states and a bunch of blue states in that they are the United States, he promised to listen to his political opponents. That is unprecedented. What a breath of fresh air.

Now the tables are turned. 51% is still not a mandate. Although Obama won many more seats than McCain, the popularity vote wasn’t that far apart. Nevertheless, it’s great to see Obama take the higher road unlike his predecessor.

Why do I like these photos so much?

Bush showing Obama his new home.

Out with the old and in with the new. Three cheers.

China increases troops on border

Speaking of China, this new headline is confusing; http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/96b55558-b111-11dd-8915-0000779fd18c.html?nclick_check=1

So China moves troops in towards the North Korean border, refuses to discuss the matter with the States and the States declare it is to prepare for any possible influx of refugees due to instability, or regime change, in North Korea.

Nevertheless, "China's relations with North Korea have long been characterized as being 'as close as lips and teeth' after they fought side-by-side during the 1950-53 Korean War. However, China has been building a fence along the border since 2006, when North Korea tested a nuclear device."

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/china/3450576/Tensions-grow-along-North-Korean-border-with-China.html
.
North Korea is Communist, China is Communist. China supported North Korean during the Korean War. Now all of a sudden they are building a fence between the two countries when North Korea starts testing nuclear weapons? That is somewhat interesting indeed. Is this one of those, we’ll give you a nuke and pretend not to support your use of it so we don’t get sanctions kinda thing or are they sincere?

Military troops to defend against an influx of refugees? What are they gonna do shoot the refugees if they come? I find it all very interesting and very confusing. This article says they are planning on sending troops into North Korea to restore order and secure its nuclear arsenal in the event of the regime’s collapse: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/1574944/China-

That makes a whole lot more sense. They wanna go in and kick ass in case Communism falls in North Korea and they wanna take over North Korea’s nukes. Time will tell how this hand plays out. Cheers.

Canada Deports Former KGB Agent

This story has been going on for a while now. Students rally to keep the family of a former KGB agent from being deported: http://www.canada.com/theprovince/news/story.html?id=25abcd46-d135-40dd-b407-5baecc10d73e

Are they going to deport all the NSA and CIA Agents? They should. The CIA has sold a lot more drugs than the KGB ever did. Leave the family alone. Let them stay.

Obama to send 10,000 more troops to Afghanistan

This is kind of what Jesse Ventura meant when asked what he thought of the two party system in the US. He responded by saying, "I think it’s great. We have one more candidate on the ballot than Communist Russia." He does have a point. He also compared the two party system to being offered a drink. What would you like to drink, Coke or Pepsi? Well let’s see. They’re both soft drinks, they’re both colas, they taste a little bit different but all in all they are basically the same.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m thrilled Obama was elected. However my concerns over the existing CIA and Pentagon officials remains the same. Pulling out of Iraq is good. Obsessing over Osama is suspicious. With all the legitimate 911 discrepancies we need to first determine if Osama bin Laden really did it before we put him in front of another kangaroo court or let the CIA torture him until we get another bogus confession.

Operation Northwoods was a historical disgrace. I sure don’t think a plane made those perfect diagonal theremite cuts on the load bearing beams we see in 911 photos. Who did those? Why does the bin Laden confession video not look like bin Laden? We need to answer that before was start or continue another war.

It’s really suspicious that the CIA keeps creating these boogie men. Don’t get me wrong I do believe boogie men exist. I’m just skeptical as to why so many are created by the CIA. In 1953 the CIA overthrew the democratically elected government in Iran shortly after the CIA was formed: http://in.youtube.com/watch?v=ejNk7VD0ru0&feature=channel
.
They were responsible for the subsequent mess in Iran. They put Sadam Hussein in power in Iraq and trained Osama bin Laden and the Taliban to fight the Soviets. The CIA want a reason to exist so they keep creating these boogie men so they can save the day in one manufactured emergency after the other.

The CIA needs to stop fucking around with other countries:
http://in.youtube.com/watch?v=geQG0ptFaS0&NR=1
Better yet, the CIA needs to be disbanded. Period.
There never was any good in them.

As for sending more troops to Afghanistan, we need to investigate 911 before we continue that mission. Canada should pull it’s troops out of Afghanistan and put them in Darfur where they belong.

The Cuban Model

People tell me that Cuba is the best practical model of effective Socialism that we have. Trudeau’s son, not the elected MP to save the liberal party from the brink of ruin but his other son, wrote papers singing Castro's praise. Listening to both those positions I’m left to ask, are you on crack?

Castro was a dictator. He held political prisoners of conscience and don’t dare compare that to the States. The States is getting bad but Cuba is very different. Political prisoners falls within their mandate. Political prisoners in the States violates their constitution.

Cuba was a crappy model of socialism. Lawyers in Cuba make more money at a bed and breakfast for tourists so they are giving up their profession to open a bed and breakfast. A system without incentive is somewhat problematic indeed.

The Kibbutz movement in Israel is a much better model of socialism. It is based on democracy and free will. Old style Communism is not. It is mandated to remove democracy for the sake of the great good, which is a self defeating axiom.

On a Kibbutz you are free to stay and free to leave. You don’t earn a wage per say, profits form the kibbutz go to improve the standard of living for everyone on the kibbutz. They are governed by the voice of the people. If the people want to be a religious kibbutz they may. If they want to be a nonreligious kibbutz they may. Democracy is protected in that system.

Despite the fact that I feel Cuba is not the best model for functioning socialism, I do think the Helms Burton law is draconian. Why boycott Cuba and do business with China who has a far worse human rights record.

Although I do see old style Communism as a threat still, Communists have a right to be Communists. If a Communist country exists and they mind their own business without invading another country then fine so be it. If their human rights violations escalate then don’t do business with them. It really is that simple.

Russia is still a threat but...

The US is not the only country with corruption nor is it the only country that has performed false flag attacks. Russia has done false flag attacks as well. Russia has corruption too. The only difference is that in a democratic system we hear about the corruption and are allowed to talk about it. http://finiansworld.blogspot.com/2008/09/faked-military-attacks-russia.html

People aren’t allowed to talk about government corruption in China. Look at their passion to win public opinion during the Beijing Olympics. They even faked the fireworks and opening song just so they would look good. Now it’s all about PR and fooling the masses. Thus the term, the first casualty of war is the truth. http://finiansworld.blogspot.com/2008/08/mao-beijing.html

As soon as Obama is elected, Russia moves missiles into position. Is this a Cuba deja vu or is it simply recording their dissent over NATO missiles in the Ukraine. Let’s face it, the US were rightfully concerned about Russia putting missiles in Cuba. Likewise Russia has a right to be concerned if NATO puts missiles in the Ukraine. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/europe/article5090077.ece
.
What are they thinking? Are they trying to instigate conflict or avoid it? It would also depend on what kind of missiles they wanted to put there, offensive or defensive. Missiles that can shoot down missiles are better than missiles that simply do damage. However, I don’t see how it would be possible to put defense missiles in place and not be able to use those missiles for offensive strikes. http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,2144,3788942,00.html
.
The purpose of the "Defense Shield" is not to protect North America but to protect countries in Europe. If Israel wants defense missiles give them defense missiles but to place "Defense" missiles in all those former soviet countries is clearly an antagonistic act. http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe/04/03/nato.members/
.
What if NATO puts all those missiles in place and those countries revert? Could not those missiles then be used against us? Who other than the arms dealers and the CIA benefit from selling arms and promoting conflict? http://bx.businessweek.com/defense-industry/pentagon-seeks-7b-missile-sale-to-uae/15218489874394099870-c72ac764c466698314c6e53d602c30bb/
.
Russia leasing nuclear subs to India is a bit of a concern. Nuclear subs are a double edge sword. If you have a nuclear sub in your waters and you blow it up, then you have to deal with the radiation. Yet letting a nuclear sub roam around your waters with nuclear missiles in somewhat problematic. http://www.ptinews.com/pti/ptisite.nsf/0/2ABD5BE21A585450652574FE004DB660?OpenDocument

The EU mandated to build armies without protection of human rights is somewhat of a concern as well. Nevertheless, we do have to take the board out of our own eye before we take the speck out of our neighbour’s eye. Bush was a big board but the CIA is clearly the root of the problem, which remains and continues to cause serious problems.

First they came for the Communists...

WWI and WWII were against Fascism, which is what the Bush administration was rapidly approaching with the introduction of the Patriot Act. I am not a Christian Marxist but I do have a social conscience. We can’t obsess over Fascism to the point of ignoring Communism any more than we can obsess over Communism to the point of ignoring Fascism. We need to shun extremism.

Martin Niemoller’s poem starts off with First they came for the Communists. Then they came for the Jews. Then they came for the trade unionists. Then they came for the Catholics. Then they came for me. First they came for the Communists. Although old style Communists will exploit every socialist and trade unionist to accomplish their tyrannical goal, not all Communists support tyranny.

In fact the ideal of true Communism is to oppose tyranny. As I’ve said before, I had a friend at the Post office who thought I was a Communist for the same reason I thought he wasn’t – we both believed in democracy and free speech. Some obsess over Capitalism and claim that is a democratic society so we need to remove democracy to overcome Capitalism. Not so.

Capitalism is not Democracy it is a condition that rises in a democratic system. Not all Capitalism is bad. Prospering from the fruit of your own labour is good. Greed and exploitation is bad but Capitalism in itself is not. Likewise abandoning social justice out of a homophobic fear of Communism is equally insane. Just because someone wants affordable Medicare and has compassion for the elderly and the homeless does not make them a Communist. If it does, then yes I am a Communist. However, my definition goes beyond that.

Social justice is a Christian, Muslim, Jewish and Sikh value. If Communism outlaws religion then social justice is bigger than Communism. Social justice is bigger than Capitalism because Corporate greed cares nothing about social justice. They obsess over profits above anything else. I would agree that Imperialism is wrong. That form of exploitation was practiced by England, France and Spain for many years.

Having said all that, notwithstanding the corruption in the CIA and the Bush administration, old style Communism still is a threat as well.

Corruption infiltrates good in many different ways.

That is the second law of thermodynamics.

Lest We Forget

Remembrance Day is a time to reflect and respect the dead. A time to remember that our freedom was bought with a price. Some think Remembrance Day is a time to renounce all war. Not so. It is a time to renounce injustice. It is also a time to rise above the past and move forward with respectful admiration of those who so nobly passed the torch on to us. Today the passion of Passchendaele is being choked unconscious by a sea of apathy and materialism.

Canada was intensely involved in WWI and WWII. Those were simple wars. Good versus evil. Many volunteered as a result. However, it is important to remember how Hitler conned the German people. He burned the German Parliament and blamed it on terrorists to seize power and become a dictator. Then he bombed a German radio station and blamed it on Poland to gain public support to invade Poland. http://finiansworld.blogspot.com/2008/09/history-of-faked-military-attacks.html

Those historical events are important to remember. There were many atrocities committed during the Holocaust and many are understandably bitter. Yet it is important to realize not all Germans knew what was going on. At first it was segregation. Then it was speculation. Then as Martin Niemoller describes, by the time it was known it was too late to stop it. http://www.serendipity.li/cda/niemoll.html

Likewise, there is much speculation of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Centre and many serious questions need to be answered. However, Operation Northwoods did exist. We need to remember who proposed it, who sustained it and who said no to it and what happened thereafter.

Ezra Taft Benson was a conspiracy theorist. His book, An Enemy Hath Done This describes what he felt to be the most dangerous enemy of all, the enemy within. Indeed his concerns have merit. Lest we forget history tends to repeat itself until we learn from it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ7LcplfkgY

Ezra Taft Benson talks about speaking with an atheist murderer. Which is better a religious murderer or an atheist murderer? None. They are both one in the same. Although Ezra Taft Benson’s concerns with old style communism were valid, history has shown that the fear of communism has seen some pretty horrific things done by the Pentagon in the name of the end justifies the means.

The great and abominable church that pimps religion, exploits religion and distorts it beyond any sensible recognition is a campaign of evil to rationalize the next step – the removal of human rights. Thus the new boss becomes the same as the old boss as a tyrant is a tyrant regardless of the colour of his hat.

Lest we forget Poland. How Hitler invaded Poland based on a lie and how Stalin liberated Poland based on another lie. Both extremes are wrong. A religious murderer is no better than an atheist murder. Both extremes lead to tyranny. Short sighted knee jerk apathy needs to understand that because once our freedom is lost, blood will be spilt to bring it back. Lest we forget.

Tyranny is far more subtle than our apathy takes the time to consider. Remember Poland and the one-two punch of evil. Let’s not frantically defend against the first punch while we blindly ignore the second. Let us seek justice and shun extremism so that we may fulfill the dream. Word.

Thermite in 911

This photo scares me. One of the theories about how the towers fell was through the use of Thermite making diagonal cuts in the steel load bearing beams. Well take a look at the clean diagonal cut on the support beam just above the fireman in the photo.

BYU Professor Stephen Jones has found Thermite in the 911 rumble:
http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/june2006/200606scientificanalysis.htm

There has been controversy over the 911 rumble but the photo of the diagonal cut is clear. Thermite is incredibly hot. Thermite would explain how the cars beside the towers melted due to heat.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzJehD0eSYQ

Thermite burns much hotter than jet fuel does. If Thermite was used, then there could be merit to the original story that the towers fell due to heat and fire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrCWLpRc1yM

However, the question remains, who placed the thermite there in advance on the load bearing support beams to make perfect diagonal cuts and why? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9J8ojEWlkrs

Eagle Safari Harrison

We took a couple of voyager canoes down the Harrison River today. We saw lots of seals poke their heads out of the water. They swim all the way up the Fraser for the salmon. It’s spawning season. It started to rain pretty heavy for quite a while. We saw several salmon carcasses and several salmon jump.

Many salmon were splashing about on the edge of the water. We saw a black bear not far from us on the shore looking for salmon too. It took off straight up the steep embankment when it saw us. I wondered why there were no eagles if there were so many salmon like at Brackendale. Then we finally started to see a few and the salmon started jumping all around our canoes.

We approached a few trees full of large birds. We thought they were turkey vultures at first. Then when we got closer we could clearly see they were eagle. Everywhere. All around us. It was awesome.
.

A deer was swimming in the water and climbed out on shore. In such a short span we saw so much wildlife. Seals, salmon, a bear, a deer and tons of eagles everywhere. It was awesome.

Eaglefest is on November 15 and 16 2008:

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra was at GM Place last night. They always put on a good show.

Beware of Stupidity

This is what I like about the Province. They will print both side of an issue. People say I’m a dreamer. I am. In my fantasy world, free speech exists. People have the right to join and vote for the political party of their choice and they have the right to speak on an issue for or against.

The same day the Province ran my article in the editorial section they also ran a letter denouncing Obama in the letters section. They actually had two letters about Obama. One for:
http://www.canada.com/theprovince/news/letters/story.html?id=a92b94e9-3802-4b6f-b1d0-78ea3cd24b5f

And one against: http://www.canada.com/theprovince/news/letters/story.html?id=941b2ccd-ca9b-4844-9f46-529fba972eb3

I will address the one against. It was titled Beware of Socialism. I shake my head at the bizarre stereotypes that rational beings subscribe to. They say democrats will tax and spend until there economy goes down the toilet and the republicans will save the economy with frugal spending and tax breaks for big business which will result in economic prosperity for all. This delusion is believed and repeated by many despite the fact that history has proven otherwise.

I’m not sure who produced this graph but the fact is everyone knows the economy was very bad under George Bush senior, got better for a while and got steadily worse under George Bush Jr until it completely and utterly crashed.

The ridiculous letter stated: "That once-proud nation will now be governed by ideals and a agenda that will, in four years, leave them with broken spirits, unfulfilled promises and an even larger deficit." This guy must be on crack because he’s living in a fantasy world of denial. He is describing the current state of affairs under 8 years of Bush’s leadership.

Even Canada's former United Nations envoy, Paul Heinbecker agrees. He described Bush’s tenure as catastrophic:
http://www.canada.com/theprovince/news/story.html?id=204c9ee8-e18e-4be7-82bf-09764b5c6325

The Beware of Socialism article implies that people who want affordable Medicare are evil socialists. If he took the time to look past his narrow minded stereotypes he would see and hear a great man rising up to heal the nation. Even if what he said was true and the Democrats would spend money to house the homeless and improve Medicare for all not just the rich, don’t you think it would be better to spend some money on that then billions after billions which ended in the trillions on a war that was based on a lie and bailing out banks after they foreclosed the homes of the masses.

Would this man call the preacher, Martin Luther King a socialist? Would he call Jesus of Nazareth a socialist who said inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these, ye have done it unto me. Ironic how extremists pimp the church to rationalize their greed and selfishness. Last I checked greed and selfishness are not elements of Christianity.

Open your eyes and stop pissing on the dream.

Obama and the King

A local radio station www.95crave.com remixed some of the words of Martin Luther King and some of the words of Barack Obama with the U2 song In the Name of Love. It is fresh so it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Frk7kbS3lBY

There should be a web site that coordinates all the 911 info coming together. I realize there are many. www.911truth.org is one. www.juscogens.org is another.

A lot of information on these sites. The easiest thing to do is to start with the movie Loose Change:

Debonkers

Why on earth would the Vancouver Province reprint such an offensive article by a Conrad Black left over from the National Post? http://www.canada.com/theprovince/news/editorial/story.html?id=1e3087bf-0b38-40ca-8374-fe5a66eb4890

Perhaps the Vancouver Province was trying a Jerry Springer and going for the knee jerk reaction by posting something so offensive in their paper. Surely the days of media censorship are over. At least, let’s hope so. We do know they aren’t over at Macleans. Don’t forget Carl Bernstein’s article about the media published in the Rolling Stone on October 20, 1977.

Jonathan Kay set out to refute those who have concerns with the 911 discrepancies without presenting a single fact. His entire argument is that it would be too hard for that many people to keep it a secret. His conclusion, 911 was not a black op.

Why would he even comment on such an absurdity? Perhaps because in his own words "39 per cent of Canadians either reject or doubt the official explanation for the 9/11 attacks." Operation Northwoods was a black op. So was Operation Gladio in Europe. Both planned by the CIA. He didn’t mention either of those cases in his frivolous report.

Those cases were kept secret for many years until the documents finally became declassified. They were kept secret because only the CIA knew about them. If 911 was a black op, surely the fireman were not "in" on it. They were victims of the explosions going off in the towers long after the planes hit.

If 911 was a black op the only people who had to be in on it would have been the CIA, the President, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and likely Larry Silverstein. The shrewd businessman who for some strange reason paid full value for the twin towers knowing it was full of asbestos and that the Port Authority had just lost their court case requiring the insurance companies to pay to have the asbestos replaced.

Without diving into all the volumes of materials on the subject one simply has to ask ones self, how did the third tower fall when no planes hit it? The tower that contained all the other ready to be declassified CIA documents as well as the Enron files and all the other Wall Street scandals. The worlds biggest paper shredder.

Larry Silverstein said they pulled the building. We saw explosions going off after the planes hit. Yes, one plane did hit tower one and one plane did hit tower two. There was no plane wreckage found anywhere else including the Pentagon. That did look like a missile hit it not a plane. Donald Rumsfeld was the one that mentioned missiles.

JK’s spin is very short sighted. A responsible citizen will not bury their head in the sand when so many very real discrepancies have emerged. The third tower, the asbestos in the twin towers, no plane wreckage found at the pentagon. Operation Northwoods, Operation Gladio. The list goes on. I’m disappointed the Vancouver Province reprinted such a frivolous article.

The CIA and the Media

This was a very interesting article by Carl Bernstein published in the Rolling Stone describing the CIA’s use and control of the media: http://www.carlbernstein.com/magazine_cia_and_media.php

The Frogman Affair

Interesting book that came out after Gary Webb’s articles connecting the CIA to the crack epidemic of the /80’s called Whiteout: The CIA, Drugs and the Press. This book takes Webb’s findings one step further and shows that the CIA and Ronald Reagan’s attorney general, William French Smith knew about the drug for arms trade: http://books.google.ca/books?id=s5qIj_h_PtkC

The Frogman raid took place in San Francisco. The DEA caught Meneses’ men unloading 200 kilograms of cocaine. The DEA then went to the home of Julio Zavala one of Meneses’ lieutenants where they found and seized $36,800 cash.

"Hitz’s report stated 'At OGC’s (the CIA’s Office of General counsel) request the US Attorney General has agreed to return the money to Zavala.' The CIA’s Inspector General said the Agency wanted the money returned 'to protect an operational equity i.e. a Contra support group in which it (the CIA) had an operational interest.'" (page 390)
http://books.google.ca/books?id=s5qIj_h_PtkC

Ivan Gomez the CIA’s man in Costa Rica said he was "there to ensure the profits from the cocaine went to the Contras and not into someone’s pocket." (page 391)

In 1982 the CIA signed a memorandum with Ronald Reagan’s attorney general, William French Smith freeing the Agency from any requirement to report allegations of drug trafficking involving nonemployees. Who were described by Hiltz as paid and non-paid "assets, pilots who ferried supplies to the Contras as well as contra officials and others."

It appears the agreement with the Justice department was modified in 1986 after the flow of Congressional funds to the Contras had been restored to stop paying assets who were known to be involved in the drug trade. The agreement officially ended in 1995. (page 391)

"In March, 1998, the CIA Inspector General testified that there had existed a secret agreement between CIA and the Justice Department, wherein "during the years 1982 to 1995, CIA did not have to report the drug trafficking by its assets to the Justice Department." http://www.heart7.net/cia-doj-agreement2.html
