China increases troops on border

Speaking of China, this new headline is confusing; http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/96b55558-b111-11dd-8915-0000779fd18c.html?nclick_check=1

So China moves troops in towards the North Korean border, refuses to discuss the matter with the States and the States declare it is to prepare for any possible influx of refugees due to instability, or regime change, in North Korea.

Nevertheless, "China's relations with North Korea have long been characterized as being 'as close as lips and teeth' after they fought side-by-side during the 1950-53 Korean War. However, China has been building a fence along the border since 2006, when North Korea tested a nuclear device."

North Korea is Communist, China is Communist. China supported North Korean during the Korean War. Now all of a sudden they are building a fence between the two countries when North Korea starts testing nuclear weapons? That is somewhat interesting indeed. Is this one of those, we’ll give you a nuke and pretend not to support your use of it so we don’t get sanctions kinda thing or are they sincere?

Military troops to defend against an influx of refugees? What are they gonna do shoot the refugees if they come? I find it all very interesting and very confusing. This article says they are planning on sending troops into North Korea to restore order and secure its nuclear arsenal in the event of the regime’s collapse: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/1574944/China-

That makes a whole lot more sense. They wanna go in and kick ass in case Communism falls in North Korea and they wanna take over North Korea’s nukes. Time will tell how this hand plays out. Cheers.
