USS Liberty

On June 8, 1967 while patrolling in international waters in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, USS Liberty was savagely attacked without warning or justification by air and naval forces of the state of Israel. http://www.gtr5.com/

Israel later called it a mistake yet the facts make that excuse difficult to believe. Some speculated that since it was right before the 6 day war wherein Israel took the Golon Heights, that Israel saw it as a spy operation and wanted to prevent anyone from knowing about the 6 day war that was already delayed. Still that excuse is hard to believe. The US and Israel were allies. It is unlikely the US would intervene in that conflict.

Then another piece to the puzzle finally emerges from the darkness. Surrounding aircraft carriers receive the distress call and send air support. That air support is ordered to return by the White House and President Johnson said: "I want that g.. damn ship going to the bottom. No help. Recall the wings."

Johnson took over after Kennedy was assassinated and after Kennedy said no to Operation Northwoods. Somewhat ironic indeed. That missing piece adds a very new perspective to what happened.

The attack was cut short when a Russian spy ship entered the waters. This video submits that Israel was acting under direction of the White House to conduct a false flag mission to sink the USS Liberty and blame Israel’s enemies so the Americans would be justified in entering that conflict.

"According to this senior Israeli lead pilot, he recognized the Liberty as American immediately, so informed his headquarters, and was told to ignore the American flag and continue his attack. He refused to do so and returned to base, where he was arrested."

Please note this post is not anti Semitic. Personally I think Israel acting under the direction of the White House makes much more sense than Israel making a mistake or wanting to attack it’s ally before it invades another country.
