On a more positive note, the Jamaican bobsled team has been a Canadian Favorite. The comedy Cool Runnings immortalized the story and the town of Pemberton has invited them to come and train there. Part of the reason they’re a Canadian favorite is the cheering for the underdog but it goes beyond that. The Caribbean community is awesome. A vibrant culture that is welcome here. Ever had rice and peas with some curry mutton? Now that’s what I’m talkin about. Cheers.
