Canada Exports Asbestos

I came across a blog the other day about Canada exporting asbestos to India. No way I thought. Asbestos is toxic. It’s a banned substance. Sure enough, according to the Washington Post in 1999 Canada was the world's largest exporter of asbestos and continues to lobby it continue: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A61372-2004Nov18.html

This is shameful. Since this is an election year and since there is much talk about the environment, let’s find out how the candidates feel about exporting Asbestos:
